FRP Spray Tower
FRP Spray Tower,also known as fiberglass reinforced plastic scrubber tower,is a mainstream wet waste gas purification equipment widely used in industrial flue gas and VOC treatment systems.Different from traditional metal and PP spray towers,this tower adopts high-strength fiberglass reinforced plastic(FRP)integral molding technology,featuring ultra-strong corrosion resistance,aging resistance and stable structural strength.It is specially developed for treating highly corrosive acid-base waste gas,dusty flue gas and malodorous industrial exhaust,serving as core environmental protection equipment to help factories achieve gas purification and emission compliance.
The equipment follows the principle of countercurrent gas-liquid mass transfer reaction.Polluted industrial waste gas is pumped into the tower bottom by a centrifugal fan and rises evenly through the airflow distributor.Meanwhile,circulating liquid mixed with neutralizing chemicals is sprayed downward uniformly through multi-layer high-efficiency nozzles inside the tower.The rising gas fully contacts with the falling liquid mist on the surface of the packing layer,forming a large-area gas-liquid reaction interface.Water-soluble harmful substances,acidic gas,alkaline fume and fine dust particles are dissolved,absorbed and neutralized into harmless liquid compounds,realizing thorough purification of exhaust gas.
After multi-stage spray washing and packing filtration,the purified gas passes through a high-efficiency mist eliminator at the tower top to intercept residual water mist and liquid droplets,preventing water belt entrainment and white smoke emission.Finally,clean gas is discharged up to standard.The circulating liquid can be recycled after sedimentation and filtration,effectively reducing water consumption and secondary wastewater discharge,achieving energy-saving and environmentally friendly operation.
The most prominent advantage of the FRP spray tower lies in its superior material performance.As a non-metallic composite material,FRP completely avoids electrochemical corrosion and rust problems existing in carbon steel and stainless steel equipment.It can operate stably for a long time in extreme working conditions with a pH range of 1–14,resisting erosion from sulfur-containing gas,chlorine gas,alkali mist and various organic corrosive media.With integrated seamless molding,the tower body features high structural toughness,no leakage,wind pressure resistance and aging resistance,with a service life of 10–15 years,far longer than traditional metal towers that require frequent maintenance.
In addition to durable corrosion resistance,the FRP spray tower has obvious comprehensive application advantages.Its lightweight structure reduces overall equipment weight by 70–80%compared with metal towers,lowering transportation,hoisting and foundation construction costs.The modular and integrated design simplifies installation procedures and shortens project cycle.Equipped with high-quality PP or ceramic packing,anti-clogging spray nozzles and efficient demisting components,the equipment maintains stable gas-liquid exchange efficiency,with pollutant removal efficiency up to 90%–90%.It supports continuous 24-hour industrial operation with low failure rate and extremely low daily maintenance cost.
