U Trough Screw Conveyor is an open‑top U‑shaped trough‑style screw conveyor for continuous transportation of powder,granules,small lumps and ash materials.Different from fully enclosed tube screw conveyors,it adopts U‑shaped trough housing with removable cover plates,bringing convenient inspection and maintenance while realizing large‑capacity bulk‑material delivery.It is widely paired under dust collectors,silos,mixing tanks and ash‑handling systems for horizontal or small‑angle inclined conveying.Thanks to its large cross‑section,easy access and flexible configuration,it is highly popular in environmental‑protection ash removal,building‑material,chemical and grain‑processing production lines.

Driven by a geared motor,the spiral shaft with helical blades rotates inside the U‑shaped trough.Materials fed into the trough inlet are pushed forward axially by rotating blades and move steadily toward the discharge outlet.Cover plates can be fitted on top to reduce dust escape for dusty materials;removing covers allows direct visual observation of material flow and internal condition.Multiple discharge openings can be set along the trough length to achieve multi‑point unloading,which is difficult to realize on tubular screw conveyors.This structure guarantees stable continuous material flow for high‑volume ash and bulk‑solid handling processes.
