Submerged Pulse Jet Valve
Submerged pulse jet valve,also known as embedded pulse diaphragm valve,is a high‑performance pulse blowing component specially developed for heavy‑duty baghouse dust collectors.Different from right‑angle and straight‑through pulse valves which are mounted outside the air tank,the main body of submerged pulse jet valve is installed inside the compressed‑air reservoir,with only the pilot solenoid part exposed outside.As a core actuation device for dust‑removal systems,it converts electrical pulse signals from the pulse controller into instantaneous high‑energy air jets to purge dust off filter bags and filter cartridges.This structural innovation greatly shortens the air flow path and reduces pressure loss,making it highly popular in heavy‑load industrial dust‑removal projects worldwide.It is also referred to as submerged diaphragm pulse valve in international trade documents.
Its working principle is based on pressure‑difference driven diaphragm action.Under standby status,the solenoid pilot remains closed.Compressed air inside the air tank fills both the inlet and the rear chamber behind the diaphragm.Balanced air pressure presses the high‑elastic reinforced rubber diaphragm tightly against the valve seat to achieve reliable sealing and prevent unwanted air leakage.When the pulse controller sends an electric signal,the solenoid pilot energizes and opens the small exhaust orifice.Air in the diaphragm rear chamber exhausts rapidly,which creates a sharp pressure difference between the front and rear sides of the diaphragm.Driven by this pressure gap,the diaphragm lifts instantly.Since the valve body sits directly inside the air tank,high‑pressure compressed air surges out without long pipeline transit,generating an intense concentrated airflow toward the blowpipe for filter element cleaning.Once the electric pulse signal disappears,the pilot valve resets and closes the exhaust port.Air pressure rebuilds in the rear chamber,pushing the diaphragm back onto the valve seat,and one complete millisecond‑level blowing cycle comes to an end.
The biggest competitive advantage of submerged pulse jet valve comes from its built‑in installation structure.Placed inside the air reservoir,it removes elbows and intermediate connecting pipelines,minimizing airflow resistance and pressure loss.Compared with right‑angle or straight‑through types,it delivers stronger jet force under identical working pressure,brings more thorough ash‑cleaning effect and saves compressed‑air consumption.The critical wearable diaphragm adopts fabric‑reinforced rubber material with outstanding anti‑fatigue,aging‑resistant and wear‑resistant performance.It can sustain millions times of frequent opening‑closing movements,lowering replacement frequency and overall operating cost.The valve body adopts precision casting process with compact and robust construction.Sealing performance stays stable under long‑term continuous operation,with extremely low leakage rate.Thanks to its optimized pneumatic characteristic,submerged pulse jet valve performs better for high‑frequency pulse cleaning working conditions.
Common submerged pulse jet valves adopt threaded connection.They work reliably within working pressure 0.3‑0.7 MPa,and adapt ambient temperature ranging from‑10℃to+85℃.Special design is required for the air tank opening to fit embedded mounting.Though installation demands higher technical requirements at the initial stage,later inspection and diaphragm replacement remain convenient.
