Right Angle Pulse Jet Valve
Right angle pulse jet valve is the most widely‑used diaphragm‑type blowing component for pulse baghouse dust collectors.Named after its 90‑degree right‑angle layout between air inlet and outlet,this solenoid‑controlled valve is installed outside the air storage tank.It converts electrical pulse signals from the pulse controller into instantaneous high‑pressure air jets to strip dust from filter bags and filter cartridges.In international trade,it is also called right‑angle solenoid pulse valve.Thanks to its mature structure,flexible installation and cost‑effective performance,it occupies the dominant position among pulse valve products and serves as the standard configuration for most medium‑and‑small‑size industrial dust removal systems.
The valve operates fully on pressure‑difference actuation of the flexible diaphragm.In standby state,the solenoid pilot stays closed.Compressed air fills both the inlet cavity and the back chamber behind the diaphragm.Balanced air pressure presses the high‑elastic reinforced rubber diaphragm firmly against the valve seat to maintain tight sealing and avoid unnecessary air leakage.When the pulse controller outputs an electrical signal,the solenoid coil energizes instantly,opening the small exhaust orifice of the pilot section.Air inside the diaphragm back chamber discharges quickly,creating a remarkable pressure difference across the diaphragm.Driven by such pressure gap,the diaphragm lifts rapidly.Compressed air flows through the 90‑degree flow channel and surges into the blow pipe,generating strong turbulent airflow to blow off dust accumulated on filter elements.Once the electric signal cuts off,the pilot valve resets and closes the exhaust hole.Pressure rebuilds within the back chamber,pushing the diaphragm back to seal the valve port,finishing one complete millisecond‑level pulse cleaning cycle.
Its primary strengths lie in simple structure,convenient external mounting and strong adaptability to on‑site piping conditions.Different from submerged valves embedded inside the air tank,the right‑angle pulse jet valve is mounted externally,requiring no special reserved opening on the air reservoir.Field assembly,disassembly and routine inspection can be completed without modifying the air tank structure,which greatly lowers installation difficulty and maintenance threshold.The core wearing diaphragm is made of fabric‑reinforced rubber material,featuring excellent fatigue resistance,aging resistance and mechanical strength.It can endure millions of repeated opening‑closing cycles,reducing spare‑part replacement frequency and overall operating expenses.Precision‑cast valve body ensures structural rigidity and reliable sealing under long‑term continuous operation.Although the right‑angle flow path brings slight airflow turning loss,it still delivers stable jet power within the rated pressure range and satisfies most conventional dust‑cleaning demands.
Most right angle pulse jet valves adopt threaded connection,covering multiple caliber specifications to match different dust collector sizes.Its applicable working pressure ranges from 0.3 MPa to 0.7 MPa,and the ambient working temperature is‑10℃~+85℃.It can adapt to most ordinary compressed‑air sources in industrial workshops.Owing to the external installation feature,technicians can replace diaphragms or solenoid coils rapidly during equipment overhaul without shutting down the whole system for complicated tank‑related operations.
