Filter Bag
Filter Bag is the key consumable filter media for baghouse dust collectors, responsible for intercepting and separating solid dust particles from industrial flue‑gas airflow. As the core filtration component,it captures fine dust on the outer surface while allowing clean air to pass through fabric pores.During pulse‑jet cleaning, accumulated dust is blown off by high‑pressure compressed air and falls into the ash hopper.Different fabric materials are selected according to flue‑gas temperature, humidity, corrosiveness and dust characteristics.Cooperated with filter bag cage support,it determines overall dust‑removal efficiency, exhaust emission index and equipment operating cycle. It is widely used in cement, metallurgy, chemical industry, waste incineration, grain processing and building‑material dust‑treatment projects.
Each filter bag consists of needle‑punched felt filter media, reinforced top snap band or sewn collar, and sewn bottom closure.Installed over filter bag cages inside the baghouse tube sheet, multiple filter bags form the main filtration chamber.Contaminated flue gas flows through the outer surface of the filter bag;dust is trapped on the outside layer, and purified gas passes inward into the clean‑air chamber.Periodic pulse‑jet compressed air reversely blasts inside each bag to shake off dust cake.High‑strength sewing threads and reinforced seams prevent tearing under frequent pulse impact and negative‑pressure fluctuation.Precise dimensional tolerance ensures tight sealing against the tube‑sheet hole to avoid dust leakage and airflow bypass.
Multiple filter material options cover diversified industrial working‑condition requirements.Polyester(PET)felt suits normal‑temperature dry dust below 130℃,featuring cost‑effective performance for most general‑purpose dust‑removal systems.PPS filter media adapts to high‑sulfur flue gas under 190℃,widely used for boiler and waste‑incineration projects.PTFE membrane‑coated filter bags provide ultra‑fine dust interception, easy ash‑cleaning and anti‑adhesion properties for sticky and fine dust.Aramid and P84 materials serve high‑temperature working conditions up to 260℃.Surface treatments including singeing, calendering, water‑repellent and oil‑proof finishing are available for moisture‑prone and hygroscopic dust.Bag diameter, length, top‑closure style and bottom structure can be fully customized.
Compared with ordinary low‑quality filter bags, premium industrial filter bags show prominent comprehensive performance advantages.Uniform needle‑punched felt structure maintains stable pore size distribution, guaranteeing high dust‑collection efficiency and low emission value.Reinforced seam design resists repeated pulse‑jet impact without seam cracking.Special surface finishing prevents dust penetration into fabric depth, reducing operating resistance and extending service life.Matching perfectly with filter bag cages,it avoids local friction wear caused by poor dimensional fit.High‑quality materials lower the frequency of replacement consumables and reduce long‑term system operating costs.
Important operation notes:select proper filter fabric based on actual flue‑gas temperature, moisture content and chemical composition.Avoid over‑temperature operation which will cause irreversible material aging and bag damage.Prevent dew‑point condensation inside dust collector;dampness will lead to bag blockage and hard dust caking.Ensure filter bag cages are burr‑free;sharp welding burrs will abrade filter media rapidly.Inspect regularly for bag rupture, hole damage and air leakage;replace damaged bags timely to meet emission standards.
Filter Bags are extensively deployed in pulse‑jet baghouse dust collectors for cement kilns, thermal power auxiliary dust removal, metallurgical flue‑gas purification, chemical waste‑gas treatment, solid‑waste incineration and bulk‑material processing industries. As the core consumable of bag‑type dust‑removal equipment,it combines stable filtration performance, flexible material selection and reliable ash‑cleaning adaptability. It guarantees qualified exhaust emission and stable long‑time operation for modern industrial dust‑control systems.
