Fiberglass Baghouse Filter Bag is a high‑temperature resistant filtration consumable specially developed for high‑temperature flue gas in industrial baghouse dust collectors.Woven from continuous glass‑fiber yarn with special surface finishing,this filter bag is designed for sustained high‑temperature operating environments where conventional polyester,PPS and even P84 filter materials cannot work stably.With outstanding thermal stability and high‑temperature dimensional stability,it can withstand long‑term high‑temperature flue‑gas impact.It is widely used in glass kilns,cement kilns,metallurgical furnaces and other high‑temperature flue‑gas dust‑removal projects,serving as a reliable high‑temperature filtration solution for heavy‑industry baghouse systems.
Different from needle‑punched felt filter media,fiberglass filter bag adopts dense woven fabric structure.Under outer‑filtration working mode,high‑temperature dust‑laden flue gas flows through the outer surface of fiberglass fabric.Solid dust particles are trapped on the surface to form dust cake,and clean gas passes through fabric gaps and enters the clean‑air chamber.During pulse‑jet or reverse‑air ash‑cleaning cycles,the dust cake peels off and falls into ash hoppers.Since glass fiber is brittle,the ash‑cleaning intensity must be reasonably controlled to reduce fiber fracture risk.Special surface coating treatment improves fabric flexibility,wear resistance and anti‑dust‑adhesion performance,lowering fiber brittleness and prolonging service life.Reinforced bag opening and high‑temperature‑resistant sewing thread ensure reliable sealing on tube sheet and prevent air leakage under high‑temperature working conditions.
Multiple surface modification treatments greatly improve the comprehensive performance of fiberglass baghouse filter bags.Common treatments include silicone,graphite and PTFE impregnation coating.Silicone‑graphite composite coating enhances fabric flexibility,anti‑abrasion property and high‑temperature oxidation resistance.PTFE impregnation improves acid‑alkali corrosion resistance and non‑stick ash performance.The maximum continuous operating temperature can reach 260‑280℃,suitable for long‑term treatment of high‑temperature dry flue gas.Product dimensions,weaving density and bag‑mouth forms support customized production to match various large high‑temperature baghouse dust collectors.
Compared with organic synthetic fiber filter bags,fiberglass filter bags possess irreplaceable advantages in ultra‑high‑temperature scenarios.It maintains stable physical performance at high temperature without thermal deformation,shrinkage or melting failure.It has good flame‑retardant performance and will not burn under high‑temperature flue‑gas impact.Meanwhile,fiberglass material has favorable cost advantages compared with expensive pure PTFE high‑temperature filter materials.However,glass fiber is sensitive to friction,folding and strong moisture condensation.Excessive mechanical impact will cause fiber breakage and fabric damage,so it requires strict control of ash‑blowing pressure and dew‑point condensation.
Important operation notes:strictly control flue‑gas dew‑point to avoid condensation;damp flue gas will cause fabric corrosion and rapid damage to fiberglass bags.Avoid excessive pulse‑jet pressure to reduce fiber fatigue fracture.Prevent sharp components such as burrs on filter cages from scratching the fabric.Regularly check for fiber shedding,local damage and air leakage points,and replace damaged filter bags timely.Fiberglass filter bags are not suitable for strong alkali flue‑gas environment,which will erode glass‑fiber structure and shorten service life significantly.
