How to debug the pulse cleaning system of baghouse dust collector?

Pre-debugging preparation work
Check the whole compressed air pipeline
Confirm the air compressor,air storage tank,air dryer and oil-water separator work normally;drain accumulated water and impurities inside the pipeline completely.
Set stable compressed air working pressure within 0.4 MPa~0.6 MPa.Too low pressure leads to weak blowing force;excessive pressure easily damages filter bags and pulse valve diaphragms.
Check all pipeline joints,ball valves and air bag interfaces for air leakage;tighten loose connections.
Inspect hardware of pulse cleaning components
Check pulse solenoid valves,blowing nozzles,blow pipes,air bags inside each chamber are installed firmly without displacement,blockage or breakage.
Confirm the filter bag and cage are fully installed in place,the top mouth is sealed tightly to prevent air short-circuit.
Check the PLC pulse control cabinet is powered on normally,wiring terminals are fastened with no loose wiring.
Step 1:Manual single-valve test debugging
Switch the control system to manual mode.Trigger each pulse solenoid valve one by one manually.
Check judgment standard:
Distinct“bang”impact sound when the valve opens instantly,obvious strong airflow sprays from the blow pipe nozzle;
No slow valve action,stuck valve,no sound or weak airflow;
If a valve fails to actuate,troubleshoot circuit wiring,coil burnout or blocked valve body.
Eliminate pipeline internal accumulated water and sundries by single valve intermittent blowing to avoid dirty gas washing the filter bags.
Step 2:Set core pulse operation parameters(key debugging step)
Adjust parameters on the pulse controller according to actual dust concentration,humidity and viscosity:
Pulse blowing interval
Light dust load:60~120 seconds
Medium conventional dust:30~60 seconds
High concentration/sticky dust:10~30 seconds
Pulse blowing duration(pulse width)
General setting:0.08s~0.15s;sticky and heavy dust can be appropriately increased to 0.2s.Too long duration wastes compressed air;too short cannot shake off dust cakes effectively.
Offline cleaning configuration(for split chamber baghouses)
Set the chamber isolation waiting time:close the air inlet baffle first,perform pulse blowing after the internal airflow is stable,and open the air inlet again after cleaning is finished.Prevent flue gas disturbance from reducing cleaning effect.
Step 3:No-load overall linkage debugging
Close the flue gas inlet valve,run the induced draft fan at low speed without dust-laden gas.
Switch the controller to automatic cycle mode,let each chamber perform pulse blowing in turn according to the set program.
Observe the differential pressure change of the dust collector:the differential pressure fluctuates slightly up and down periodically with each round of blowing,which indicates the system circulates normally.
Check for abnormal vibration and air leakage of air bags and blow pipes during blowing.
Step 4:Formal on-load operation fine-tuning
Introduce flue gas gradually for formal production operation,record the real-time pressure difference data of the equipment:
Stable normal differential pressure:800~1500 Pa
Differential pressure rises continuously and slowly:shorten the blowing interval properly
Differential pressure remains too low for a long time:the blowing frequency is too high;appropriately extend the interval to save compressed air and reduce bag wear
On-site visual inspection:Check whether dust on the outer surface of filter bags can fall off smoothly after blowing;adjust pressure and parameters in time if dust accumulates severely.
Step 5:Post-debugging inspection and daily protection settings
Re-drain water from the compressed air system regularly,set automatic timing drainage for the air storage tank.
Set automatic alarm linkage:high differential pressure alarm,pulse valve failure alarm,compressed air low-pressure alarm.
Mark the final confirmed optimal parameter values on the control cabinet for later reference.
Common faults found during debugging&quick solutions
Solenoid valve does not act:Check power supply circuit,replace burnt coil,clean blocked valve body;
Weak blowing air pressure:Pipeline leakage,insufficient air compressor output,blocked nozzle;
Excessive vibration during blowing:Loose blow pipe fixing bracket,unstable air bag fixing;
Local filter bags always have poor cleaning effect:The nozzle is misaligned,need to correct the position of the blow pipe.
