High Temperature Baghouse
High Temperature Baghouse is a specialized heavy‑duty fabric filtration dust collection system purpose‑built for hot industrial flue gas above 160°C.Unlike standard pulse‑jet baghouses designed for normal‑temperature or mild medium‑temperature exhaust, this high‑temperature unit adopts heat‑resistant filter media, thermal‑insulated housing and high‑temperature resistant auxiliary components. It handles dusty hot flue gas discharged from kilns, furnaces, incinerators and metallurgical processes, delivering stable particulate removal while resisting thermal shock, oxidation and corrosive gas components. It is widely adopted in waste incineration plants, cement kilns, metal smelting lines, asphalt processing and thermal‑processing industries where high‑temperature flue gas treatment is required.
The equipment follows outer‑filtration principle with pulse‑jet offline or online cleaning workflow.Hot dust‑laden flue gas enters the gas distribution chamber.Flow‑guide plates evenly distribute high‑temperature airflow and slow down gas velocity, enabling coarse particles to settle into bottom ash hoppers, reducing thermal abrasion on filter bags.Fine hot particulates attach to the outer surface of high‑temperature filter bags.Purified gas permeates through filter media and flows into clean‑gas plenum, then discharged by high‑temperature resistant induced‑draft fan.As dust cake accumulates, differential pressure rises to preset value. The PLC control system triggers pulse‑jet cleaning cycles.High‑pressure dry compressed air generates shockwaves to vibrate filter bags and dislodge dust cake.Fall‑off dust drops to ash hoppers and is discharged through high‑temperature ash‑discharge devices.Cleaning sequences can run continuously without halting main production.
Core components are fully upgraded to withstand sustained high‑temperature operating conditions.Multiple high‑grade filter media are selectable according to actual flue‑gas temperature and chemical properties:Aramid Nomex for 160‑220°C hot‑humid flue gas;P84 for 240‑260°C complex corrosive flue gas;fiberglass filter bags for continuous operation up to 280°C;PTFE filter bags for strong‑corrosion high‑temperature waste gas.High‑temperature anti‑oxidation filter cages prevent deformation under long‑term heat exposure. The outer cabinet is fitted with thick thermal‑insulation cladding to avoid surface overheating and prevent dew‑point condensation inside the chamber.High‑temperature resistant pulse valves, poppet dampers and sealing gaskets resist thermal aging.Pulse interval and blowing duration can be adjusted to adapt high‑temperature dust characteristics.Explosion‑relief devices and temperature monitoring sensors are optional safety upgrades.
Compared with conventional room‑temperature baghouses,High Temperature Baghouse has unique advantages for hot flue‑gas scenarios.Professional high‑temperature filter material portfolio matches different temperature grades, avoiding premature bag melting or thermal degradation.Full‑body thermal insulation structure eliminates cold spots inside the housing and reduces risk of acid dew‑point corrosion.Optimized internal airflow distribution reduces local over‑heating and thermal shock damage to filter bags.Modular compartment design supports offline cleaning to reduce dust re‑adhesion, extending service life of expensive high‑cost filter media. The whole system maintains high filtration efficiency even under continuous high‑temperature working conditions.
Important operation and maintenance reminders:strictly control inlet flue‑gas temperature within the allowable range of selected filter bags;avoid sharp temperature fluctuation and over‑temperature spike.Prevent acid condensation caused by excessive moisture and sulfur components in flue gas.Keep compressed‑air supply dry and oil‑free.Monitor inlet‑gas temperature and system differential pressure in real‑time.Regularly inspect filter bags, high‑temperature seals and pulse components for heat‑induced aging damage.Replace failed filter bags timely to prevent particulate bypass.Ensure ash hopper discharge devices work reliably to avoid dust accumulation and secondary high‑temperature baking.
High Temperature Baghouses are widely deployed for waste incineration flue‑gas dedusting, cement kiln tail treatment, metallurgical furnace exhaust purification, thermal‑spray processing, ceramic kiln dust control and other high‑temperature process industries. As dedicated hot‑gas dust‑removal equipment,it combines heat‑resistant filter media, thermal‑insulated structure and stable pulse‑jet cleaning. It provides compliant particulate purification solutions for high‑temperature industrial production lines.
